let’s talk logistics…
Your Senior Session

STEP ONE:
Schedule your session
In order to reserve senior’s photo session, you’ll sign some paperwork and pay a $350 session fee, all of which you’ll be able to do easily online. You’ll also fill out a short questionnaire about your senior’s personality, interests, and your goals for the shoot. And we’ll go over timing, location, and styling so we can plan something unique to your senior — whether that’s dreamy and nature-filled, urban and edgy, sporty and bold, or a mix of everything.
The session fee covers all of the preparation I’m going to walk you through to get you ready for your session, the time spent at the session itself, and all of the selection and editing of your final images after the session.
As soon as you’re officially on the books, I’ll send you a detailed guide that I’ve put together that goes through all my best recommendations for how to prepare for the session – I promise it’s nothing too crazy, just some helpful tips and answers to the most common questions I get about things like what to wear and what you need to have on hand. Of course, if you have more specific questions I’m always happy to chat.
STEP TWO:
Portrait Day!

A typical senior photo session lasts 1.5 to 3 hours and can take place at one location or two nearby spots if you’d like variety.
Most seniors choose 2–3 outfits — you’ll get outfit guidance and ideas in advance. We’ll keep things relaxed and fun so your senior feels confident and natural in front of the camera (even if they’re a little camera-shy!).
I’ll guide them through a mix of poses and candid moments — think laughter, movement, and a few quiet shots too. We might even bring in a favorite prop (sports gear, guitar, skateboard, book — you name it) or a best friend or pet if it feels right.
STEP THREE:
Enjoy Your Images!

A couple of weeks after your session, you’ll receive an email with a slideshow of your senior’s edited images. That slideshow will be available for 24 hours from the time you first press play, so I encourage families to make an event of it — queue it up on a big screen, turn the volume up, and enjoy it together!
After watching the slideshow, you’ll choose one of three Flexible Collections. Each collection includes a set number of high-resolution digital images and a generous print credit to use in the online gallery store. I want these images to live in your home — not just your hard drive!
Once you’ve purchased your collection, you’ll have 30 days to select your favorite images and use your print credit on whatever works best for your family — prints, albums, wall art, or additional digital files.

WAYS TO
USE YOUR PRINT CREDIT
One of the best ways to honor the time, energy, and emotion you’ve invested in senior photos is to make sure those images aren’t just scrolled through once and forgotten. I believe in creating beautiful, tangible reminders of this moment in your family’s life — whether that’s a deckled-edge fine art print for the hallway or a linen-bound album to pass around at graduation.
Oh, and fun fact: a *recent study found that having family photos on your walls actually improves your kids’ self-esteem! Who knew?
(*wanna see the evidence?)
